Medium: Watercolor, ink, & a little Photoshop
Size: 3.5" x 5"

Sometimes when people reach out to you, it is too painful for you to reach back and accept their help... And you try to convince yourself that everything is gonna be ok, because that's the only way you can make it through the day. But you're only holding yourself down and making things worse... :ignore:

What a depressing description...lol. I started this a while ago and finished it today, it's all watercolor & ink, except the blackish stuff & hand prints in the corners, I did those using Photoshop brushes by ~Pfefferminzchen from rainbowharbour.net.

You'd probably like my print instructor's iconography. he uses animals in a similar way. His name is Ralph Slatton. Dunno if any of his work is on the net or not.

Yay! New paintings! Omg- love the use of color! I liked reading the artist description. I feel like that a lot sometimes. It's hard to break out of that mind set when someone is so unwiilling to accept help. Even if it's just a small gesture like a hug, it makes that lump in your throat make you want to cry.

Before I added all the blackish stuff in the corners, the colors in the sky reminded me of your work (except mine looked really horrible so I photoshopped over it, lol!)
